“Working on this great concept with Mill Co was excellent. Some great creative thinking to interesting problems and delivery of some awesome work. “

Project Overview
Mill Co. were asked by regular clients Hyper Naked digital agency to create a seriese of motion effect stills of the Fast Show characters for the Fosters Funnies campaign. The brief was to shoot each character and create the effect of them morphing into each other. We did this by using a strobe and long exposure and then a lot of post production work. The campaign was featured online and on London Underground stations.

“It’s been great working with Mill Co. on DMs. They added a real energy to the project, were keen to work with our creative teams and demonstrated massive professionalism in everything they delivered.”
Liam Eldret, Producer, Hyper Naked

Project Overview
We were initially asked to produce a stills shoot for Dr Martens to document the manufacturing process at the factory in Northampton as part of ‘The Art of Industrial Manufacturer’ campaign. What we actually did was to produce the stills but we also directed and shot a series of short films which were used on the site, each piece documenting a part of the process. The film in this clip is actually the full edit.

Client Quote
“We have developed a good working relationship with Millco over the last six months and have had them involved in a number of projects over the course of last year. This included the initial display of our Lifestyle product offering at Bread and Butter, as well as the AW10
and SS11 photo shoots which have been used across various channels
to enable our brand to hit a variety of markets. Mill Co and their team have been extremely useful in understanding quickly and efficiently where we are taking the brand and how we interact with our target consumer.”
Chris Stephenson, CEO Canterbury of New Zealand

Project Overview
Following on from the success of the AW10 shoot, we drafted in the dream team again to work on the SS11 shoot on location in Fuerteventura. We spent a long week, trawling the island in search of some of the most inspiring appropriate locations. The weather was perfect, the skies, the deserts, the rocks just Canterbury all over.

Case Study
Canterbury have now opened their own retail store in Bath, have successfully presented four lifestyle collections and are selling into NEXT and John Lewis.

“Mill Co. recommended Lisa Stannard for our illustration requirement, they handled the project management and made sure all our projects have been executed with professionalism and attention to detail. The creative output is becoming an integral part of the Lucy in Disguise, DNA. Mill Co. is a great model and we’re excited to be working with them on the Harvey Nichols launch event.”
Sarah Owen, Lucy in Disguise

Project Overview
Lucy in Disguise asked us to come up with a series of illustrations for both their new collection, the look book and the invitation to their launch event in Harvey Nichols, London. Working with Lisa Stannard we produced all assets which later appeared in Vogue.

Case Study
The illustrations were well received in the industry and by consumers and what started out as an initial look book project, rolled out to swing tickets and the Harvey Nichols invite. The illustrations appeared on numerous fashion blogs including Vogue.

Our clients Argent asked us to create a space in their Manchester 'Hive' development.

Client Quote
“We asked Mill Co to pull together the final pieces of ‘The Classroom’, a new touchdown space for creatives in the Northern Quarter. Through the use of freelancers and independent suppliers, they successfully created a unique, ‘quirky’ space, which met with our objectives both within timescale and on budget. It was a pleasure to work with Mill Co and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again on future initiatives.”

Project Overview
Our clients Argent asked us to create a space in their Manchester ‘Hive’ development which would act as a drop-in work//meeting space for freelancers, creative and business people.
The theme of the space was ‘Classroom’ so we sourced vintage classroom paraphernalia such as a vaulting horse, science room props, signage, vintage educational books and a globe etc to give it a real cool but retro school style feel.

Mill Co. illustrator Lisa Stannard adorned the walls of the classroom with graffiti style illustrations of mathematical equations, science symbols, formulas and other style school doodles.
